Current sweep power oscillator
(CSPO-1) was designed to
develop, on the surface of a quartz resonator, an
acceleration up to 100 million times the gravitational
acceleration on the Earth. This is interesting in
fundamental physics, materials science and
biotechnology.
The acceleration developed by the shear vibration of the
quartz resonator induces a sedimentation of the atoms
and molecules on the quartz resonator surface. The
associated out-of-plane vibration, in two small lobes
along the x-axis of the quartz resonator, induces an
expelling of the particles from these lobes breaking the
bonds and creating a separation effect.
CSPO-1 can drive
quartz crystal resonators with different driving levels.
The crystal current (RMS) can be adjusted within large
limits from 0.1 mA to 100 mA in two ranges:
A. From 0.1 mA to 5 mA
B. From 2 mA to 100 mA
The maximum power delivered by the quartz resonator is 100 mW.
Crystal current can be
swept within each range with different rates.
The standard frequency
range is from 4.6 MHz to 11 MHz. Other ranges are
available on request.
Tuning within the
specified range and adjustment of the negative
resistance of the oscillator are possible.
Power supply: 24 V DC,
0.5 A (wall type)
